I’ve always dreamed about decorating my little girls’ rooms, even before I had little girls. In our first house, I decorated, but never really invested in making it exactly what I wanted because I knew it was a temporary place for us. Now that we’re building our forever home on our forever farm, I want to create spaces for our family that we can grow into.

I love all things vintage, white, neutral, chippy, brass, and feminine, so it’s natural that the first room I begin to think about decorating is Ellora’s, my oldest. I want it to feel girly, but not over the top – vintage, but not old – timeless, but still fun for a little girl.
I plan to do some serious picking and antiquing once we move in, and would love to get as much of our furniture as possible used. There is something beautiful about well-loved, quality furniture that has lived and served others, pieces that already have a story.
Until then, I’ll scour the online space for ideas and inspiration! Here are some pieces that are really inspiring the vibe I want to create for Ellora’s room.
Four Poster Bed

There’s something special about a 4 poster bead. It feels regal, but cozy. Bold, but feminine. It’s something that Ellora can love now, but can also grow into and love into her teenage years. I haven’t decided if I want to go with a natural wood grain or a white – you can find this bed here!
Wallpaper Accent Wall

I like to keep things simple, but I love a good accent wall, and what better than a wall of flowers. Am I right? How cute is this stick-on wallpaper from wallpaperie on Etsy?!
Natural, Warm Accents

With so much white, and such a bright, light palette, it’s important to ground the room in some warmth and with texture. These cute nightstands do just that! They’re farm-y, feminine, and I LOVE that they have lots of storage to hide all of the things!
Adding Cozy with a Rug

Give me ALL the cozy, y’all. If you’ve never heard of Well Woven rugs, you need to check them out. So good. They have a range of styles, all beautiful and made with care. I love this rug because it’s neutral while adding dimension and depth!
Gold, Vintage Mirrors

Okay, last, but probably my FAVORITE – these gold mirrors. These are amazing – they’re dainty, feel super vintage, and I love how feminine they are! These are for sure getting ordered!
